Loren Marc Lampert
Loren was elected to the 9th Judicial District Court in March of 2024 after serving as the Executive Director of the Louisiana District Attorneys Association since 2019. A felony prosecutor since 1997, Loren also served as the Alexandria Chief of Police for 6 years.
Loren is active in community and legal matters. He currently serves as the Chair of the Louisiana Bar Association Criminal Justice Section, Louisiana Law Institute Criminal Law and Procedure Committee, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Louisiana District Judges Association. Loren frequently speaks across the nation on criminal law and procedure.
He is a 1996 graduate of Oklahoma City University Law School, magna cum laude, 1993 graduate of Louisiana College and a native of Rapides Parish. Loren and his wife of 30+ years, Lisa, are members of Longview Baptist Church, have 4 daughters and their first grandchild in 2024.
